Picky, picky...

So Balian has been eating rice cereal since he was 4.5 months.  LOVES it.  And I just felt like he's starving allllll the time.  He still nurses like every three hours during the day as well, but he just never seems satisfied.  So I thought for sure he would love baby food.  Not the case.  I tried just smashing up my own bananas two weeks ago.  He was just plain insulted by that.  So I waited a couple of days and tried smashed up carrots.  He thought about it....for about 2 seconds....decided it wasn't for him.  Great.   So I waited until this week to try some baby food.  I gave him sweet potatoes yesterday and he actually did quite well.  Well...what a tease.  That's all I have to say.  He wouldn't even give them yams the time of day today for lunch.  And the bananas were just a joke.  Check out the video though.  It's so cute.  So i think we'll just wait a couple of more weeks.  In the meantime...I got a stash of baby food from here to the moon because I thought he would love it!!!  Oh well.  I'm in no rush for him to grow up, so we'll just wait.

This is my first video, so hopefully it works!!

  7. He's so cute. He may not like that stuff now, but wait until he's onto solids big time. Especially with two parents who love to cook! In time, he'll love it all!
